I was born and grew up in the traditional pottery town in Japan.Thanks to my mother, I had a lots of chances to visit pottery studios and grew up surrounded by quality potteries at home. When I was working in the city, I started to learn pottery at the class. Immediately, I fell in love with hand building because each one is different and special.

I love simple and natural but complex.

陶芸の郷で生まれ育ち、幼い頃から陶器に親しむ。就職後、陶芸教室に通い、同じものが一つとない手捻りに魅了される。2005年、オーストラリアへ移住。
